Valerie M. Freeman
Valerie Freeman is the founder and CEO of Dallas–based Imprimis Group, Inc. a leading supplier of niche staffing, search and outsourcing services. Imprimis Group is comprised of eight divisions and five specialty firms, Bravo Technical Resources, Art Squad, MSquad, Mature Personnel and ThirdPartyPay. Imprimis has been named one of the largest independently-owned staffing firms in Texas, as well as one of the largest staffing services in the Metroplex.
Valerie's other entrepreneurial ventures include serving as a founder and Board member of the Texas Women Ventures Fund and AnserTeam, LLC. In the past she has also served as a founding member and Director of Resource Bank and Texas Capital Bank.
Valerie is the 2004 recipient of the Women Business Enterprise of the Year Award from the Women's Business Council of the Southwest for outstanding performance in using innovative approaches to overcome obstacles in growing a business. She is also the 2003 recipient of the prestigious Athena Award for professional excellence and community service. Past accolades include “National Women Business Owner of the Year” presented by NAWBO and “Entrepreneur of the Year” presented by D/FW Ernst & Young.
Valerie is a founder and past president of the DFW Chapter of NAWBO; founder and past chairperson of the Executive Women’s Roundtable. She is a member of the Committee of 200, International Women’s Forum, Leadership Texas Alumni Association and Dallas Assembly. She serves on the Boards of the Women’s Business Council of the Southwest, North Dallas Chamber of Commerce and World President’s
Organization (WPO).
Valerie is a Distinguished Alum of the University of Houston where she holds Bachelor's and Master's
degrees in Education.
