Ella Shaw has worked in the DCCCD for approximately 20 years. She serves as the Foundation’s scholarship manager, which includes the daily administration of scholarships and accounting functions. She also acts as the Foundation liaison with donors to establish new scholarships. This includes, but is not limited to, communicating with donors, setting guidelines, establishing scholarship type and setting criteria.

The Foundation offers nearly 400 scholarships funds for students attending the DCCCD. All Foundation scholarships provide access to a college education. Ella is responsible for allocating funds to each DCCCD location and reporting the disbursement of these funds to the appropriate donors.
