DCCCD STEM Institute

Educating the Next Generation of Engineers, Scientists and Teachers

The DCCCD STEM Institute engages science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) students from all seven colleges of the DCCCD. With a focus on both student access and degree completion, the DCCCD STEM Institute helps students complete their Associate STEM degree or transfer to a four-year university to earn a Bachelor's degree in STEM.

The Health Careers Resource Center (HCRC) plays a vital role in addressing the growing shortage of health care professionals in Dallas County. By connecting students to the resources that they need most to succeed, the HCRC accelerates student completion rates and streamlines the pipeline of nurses and allied health professionals entering the area workforce.

Rising Star was launched in 1999 and provides scholarships, academic counseling and personal enrichment opportunities to Dallas high school seniors who enroll at any of the seven colleges of DCCCD.
