MAJOR Math or Science

PREREQUISITE Be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester, Commit to volunteering 200 hours per year to work with mentally challenged individuals or military veterans

DESCRIPTION

The Daniel R. Patterson scholarship was established by Daniel Patterson with his own personal funds, and he made the following statement, "I am seeking individuals who have a burning desire to excel in the field of their choosing, while wanting to put something back into the community: for the aforementioned have been severely neglected."

FULL REQUIREMENTS

Applicant must:

1. Be committed to community service and agree to volunteer 200 hours per year to work with mentally challenged individuals or military veterans. A letter from all organizations/businesses will be needed to show proof of volunteer hours.
2. Be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester 
3. Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA

 

Submit the following to your college Financial Aid Office:

1. Completed DCCCD Foundation scholarship application form
