BASIC REQUIREMENTS

GPA 3.0

MAJOR Computer Science

PREREQUISITE Be enrolled in one or more Computer Science courses at Mountain View College at the time of application

DESCRIPTION

The Mountain View College Pearson Prentice Hall Scholarship, established in August 2006, provides support for students currently enrolled in Computer Science courses at Mountain View College. The scholarship is funded through the generosity of Pearson Prentice Hall Publishing.

FULL REQUIREMENTS

Applicant must:

  1. Be a Mountain View College student
  2. Be a U.S. Citizen
  3. Be enrolled in one or more Computer Science courses at Mountain View College at the time of application
  4. Current GPA of 3.0 or higher (high school and/or college).
  5. Preference will be given to students currently classified as sophomores.

 

Submit the following to the Mountain View College Financial Aid Office:

  1. Completed DCCCD Foundation scholarship application form
  2. Evidence of U.S. citizenship
  3. Evidence of current enrollment in one or more Computer Science courses
  4. Current transcript showing the last four semesters of course work

SELECTION PROCESS

Mountain View College faculty will review applications and determine recipients. Forwarding of recipients' applications to Financial Aid Office will be as followed: Fall semester-No later than November 15; Spring semester- No later than April 15
