DESCRIPTION

The Alice Butler Scholarship Fund was established in the fall of 1999 to honor Ms. Alice Butler, a professor at North Lake College for over 25 years. Through her devotion to students, her love of theatre, and her unique ability as a teacher, Alice touched everyone in a special way. This scholarship is available to students with a declared major or minor in theatre.

FULL REQUIREMENTS

Applicant must:

1. Be a North Lake College student
2. Be declared theatre major or minor
3. Enroll or currently be enrolled in a theatre program that has to be approved by the theatre faculty
4. Expect to be leaders within the theatre program - to attend and be on time to all classes, crews and rehearsals
5. Sign an agreement to maintain the criteria

Submit the following to the North Lake Financial Aid Office:

1. Completed DCCCD Foundation scholarship application form
2. List of any other theatre classes you may have already taken
3. Completed Alice Butler Scholarship Application Agreement
