DESCRIPTION

The Adolph Streng Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Dr. Adolph Streng, Jr., a long-time professor at Eastfield College. He taught for 36 years in the field of education; 29 years at Eastfield College. This scholarship fund will be used to pay for books for students enrolled at Eastfield College who are taking courses in Psychology/Human Sexuality. This scholarship is open to all students; however, preference will be given to students who live in the Garland and/or Mesquite area.

FULL REQUIREMENTS

Applicant must:

1. Enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours
2. Have a minimum 2.0 GPA
3. Take courses in Psychology/Human Sexuality

 

Submit the following to the Eastfield College Financial Aid Office:

1. Completed DCCCD Foundation scholarship application form
2. One letter of recommendation from a faculty member
