DESCRIPTION

The Dorothy Johnson Booth Memorial Scholarship pays tribute to an outstanding El Centro College faculty member, who for over 20 years taught psychology to students with heartfelt dedication, enthusiasm, and excellence.

FULL REQUIREMENTS

Applicant must:

1. Be an El Centro College student
2. Be a second-year psychology major
3. Have completed 12 credit hours
4. Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
5. Demonstrate a personal commitment to community service

Submit the following to the DCCCD Foundation Office:

1. Completed DCCCD Foundation scholarship application form
2. One-page typed essay detailing why you deserve this scholarship, including a clear statement of academic goals, career plans and community service experience
3. One letter of recommendation from a mentor or close friend
