Grant Development and Management
The Dallas County Community College District Development and Foundation provides a variety of services, together with the campus-based resource development offices, to help district employees become successful grant developers and managers for their college or department.
These sections provide resources on the external funding process in the DCCCD, guides on writing and managing grants, common grant terms, often used-forms and reference guides, plus other information, including identification codes and regulations.
Grant development and management services include:
Interpretation of regulations
Grants management training
Identification of funding sources
Assistance in program implementation
Alignment with District and college strategic initiatives
At a districtwide level the Development and Foundation office provides:
Central district contact for all funding agencies
Central resource for information on external funding for all district staff
Processing of contracts and subcontracts for review by legal staff and required signatures
Training in grant processes including management and specific requirements of funding agencies
