About North Texas Giving Day

The DCCCD Foundation is pleased to partner with the Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT) as one of the charitable organizations participating on Giving Day. North Texas Giving Day is an annual event that has raised more than $19 million for the community over the past three years.

Also, $10,000 and $5,000 in prize money will be awarded to nonprofits earning the most donations on Giving Day, so invite your friends to make a difference as well! 

Matching Funds on Giving Day

Increase the value of your support to DCCCD student scholarships and programs by making a gift of $25 or more on North Texas Giving Day. The DCCCD Foundation will receive a portion of $1 million in matching funds from Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT) for each donation of $25 or more.

To participate, visit the DCCCD Foundation profile page on CFT’s DonorBridge site between 7 a.m. to midnight on September 13 and select “Donate Now” to give.

As you consider making a contribution on Giving Day, think of these possibilities with the help of matching gifts:

• $135 pays for one credit class for a local student.
• $174 covers cost of books for one credit class for a local student.
• $309 pays for tuition and books for one credit class for a local student.
   

No matter the level of support, your gift can help us change lives by providing financial opportunities and encouragement through our scholarship and support programs. Every donation of $25 and above will be matched by a percentage.
