DCCCD Foundation Scholarships

The Foundation offers approximately 250 scholarship opportunities to new and returning students at the seven colleges of the Dallas County Community College District.

Some Fast Facts:

• Who can get a scholarship? Each program has different requirements.

• Some scholarships are just for future students, some are for current students and some are open to both.
• Scholarships are available by major, field of study, career you are pursuing or by the college at which you are enrolled or plan to attend.

• Scholarships are offered based on academic excellence, financial need, achievement, leadership or other characteristics.

• About 3,500 students receive Foundation scholarships every year.

To apply follow these 3 steps:

1. Visit or contact the Financial Aid Office at the college you attend or plan to attend. Tell them you are applying for a DCCCD Foundation scholarship (scholarships are different from federal financial aid).

2. If you qualify, complete a DCCCD Foundation scholarship application. Be sure the information you include is correct and complete. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. The application is in PDF format.

3. Submit the application(s) according to the application process listed on each scholarship page. Please follow the specific guidelines for each scholarship listing.
