Mike A. Myers

Myers has been involved with the DCCCD Foundation as a supporter and leader for more than two decades. He has served on the Foundation board since 1989 and served as its chairman from 1994 to 1997.

In 1998, Myers created the LeCroy Scholars program in honor of for DCCCD Chancellor R. Jan LeCroy for his exemplary leadership in education and in the community. Myers has also been a major benefactor of other Foundation endeavors to support DCCCD’s students, employees and programs, such as the internationally acclaimed Rising Star program and the Chancellor’s Council.

Myers is chairman of the board and owner of Myers Financial Corporation. He has developed exclusive golf course communities from Texas to Kansas City that house more than 20,000 residents.
Myers also is CEO and chairman of County Clubs of the Southwest Inc., which has owned and operated six of the country clubs in his developments. He has been chairman of the board and controlling stock holder of seven banks.

Myers received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin and earned Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Juris Doctor (JD) degrees from UT School of Law.
