Randall and Sherry Reed Advantage Scholarship

The Randall and Sherry Reed Advantage Scholarship is open to students enrolled in automotive programs at Brookhaven and Eastfield colleges. The scholarship is made possible by a recent $30,000 gift from local automotive dealership owners Randall and Sherry Reed in honor of DCCCD’s 50th anniversary.

A total of six scholarships, each worth $5,000, will be available for students as early as the spring 2015 semester. Application deadline is January 9, 2015 for the spring semester.

Randall Reed built his career on hard work and natural business savvy. Although he did not graduate from college, he applauds those who pursue higher education.

Students who apply for the Randall and Sherry Reed Advantage Scholarship have the opportunity to meet Randall Reed and the managing partners of his two Dallas County dealerships. They also could potentially be identified as future employees of his automotive group.

Lone Star Corvette Club
Automotive Technology Scholarship

The Lone Star Corvette Club Automotive Scholarship is available to students who are enrolled in the automotive technology program at any college of DCCCD and have completed at least 12 credit hours.
Qualified students must also have a 2.5 GPA.  Award amount is up to $500 per semester.
